Labour leader Andy Burnham has become Britain's new prime minister after Keir Starmer stepped down.
According to BBC, King Charles III formally asked Burnham to form a government at Buckingham Palace after Starmer's resignation.
In his first address outside 10 Downing Street, Burnham said Britain needed major change, arguing that politicians had failed to deliver for the public.
He described the moment as a "circuit breaker" for the country and pledged sweeping reforms to politics and the economy.
