LONDON — Dutch stroller specialist Bugaboo on Tuesday unveiled a multiyear collaboration with King Charles’ go-to green designer Stella McCartney.

Launching in September, the partnership includes strollers as well as accessories. It marks Bugaboo’s first major fashion collaboration in over a decade, following past tie-ups with Missoni, Marc Jacobs, Diesel and Kith.

According to Adriaan Thierry, chief executive officer at Bugaboo, with earlier capsules testing the waters, the Stella McCartney alliance is conceived as a long-term platform for fashion-driven design, conscious innovation, and durability.

“The goal for us was finding a partner who shared our instinct to question conventions — someone who challenges the categories they’re in, exactly like we do. Stella McCartney is a pioneer: she has spent her career proving that conscious design and innovation aren’t at odds with style, and that’s precisely the kind of thinking Bugaboo has brought to our category,” said Thierry.
