Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir's ruling National Conference protested in Delhi on Monday to demand immediate restoration of statehood to the Union Territory and urged the Narendra Modi-led central government to honour its commitment made in Parliament and before the Supreme Court.Party president Farooq Abdullah led the protest, in which members including some MLAs and MPs participated at the J&K House on Prithviraj Road on the opening day of Parliament's monsoon session. "I hope they will work for the good of this country and that the problems of Ladakh will also be solved and the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir will be restored."
