The 32-year-old project manager claimed the title for eating the most fish fingers in one minute after managing to wolf down 15 in just 60 seconds.‌Nathan, a dad of two, first revealed his ambition while appearing on ITV’s The 1% Club, where he walked away with a life-changing £98,000 prize after impressing viewers on the hit quiz show hosted by Lee Mack.‌Determined to turn his words into action, he later set his sights on a Guinness World Records title. He chose fish fingers for the challenge because they’re a staple in his household thanks to his two young sons.The quizzer, of Bury, Greater Manchester, said: “I decided fish fingers was achievable given that I’ve got a few less formal eating records so it’s up my street.”‌Before attempting the record, Nathan tested how quickly he could eat four fish fingers and decided the challenge was within reach. He later completed the official attempt by eating 15 fish fingers in just one minute.Despite officially earning a place in the Guinness World Records books, Nathan admitted the achievement still feels a little surreal. He told Guinness World Record: “A bit strange, very proud to have a world record, but less proud when it’s fish finger related!”‌The father of two also believes he could have pushed himself even further had the fish fingers cooled down a little more before the attempt.He said: “I think I could have done more if I had let them cool down longer, but just happy to have the record.”Nathan’s latest achievement comes just months after celebrating his huge cash win on The 1% Club , where he told host Lee Mack he wanted to break a world record.
