Tron’s stablecoin market cap has ballooned by roughly $9.7 billion over the past year, pushing the network’s total stablecoin supply to approximately $91.57 billion. That makes it the second-largest blockchain for stablecoins, sitting behind only Ethereum.

The numbers behind the growth

USDT dominates Tron’s stablecoin landscape to an almost absurd degree. Tether’s flagship token accounts for 97.78% of the network’s stablecoin supply, roughly $89.5 billion worth. The only other notable stablecoin on the chain is USDD, Tron’s algorithmic stablecoin, which contributes a comparatively modest $1.19 billion.

The network processes over $20 billion in daily stablecoin transaction volume across more than 2.2 million transactions per day. Year-over-year, daily transaction volume has surged 45.9%, while active addresses now average more than one million per day.

Tron’s median transaction fee sits at around $0.09 per transfer, and confirmations take roughly three seconds.
