Focus on completion of key arterial roads to Bhogapuram airport ahead of inaugural: VMRDA chief

In preparation for the upcoming inauguration of the Bhogapuram International Airport, Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) chairman M.V. Pranav Gopal has directed officials to expedite the ongoing development of major arterial roads and ensure their completion by the end of the month.On Monday, the chairman, accompanied by the Metropolitan Commissioner N. Tej Bharat, inspected key infrastructure projects at the ground level, including the Adavivaram-Sontyam and Vepagunta-Pinagadi routes. Reviewing the progress, Mr. Gopal said that construction is nearing completion. To facilitate seamless travel for air passengers, he instructed authorities to install clear signboards at major highway junctions and national highway intersections.
