The UAE has launched a free 24/7 addiction helpline, Hisn, accessible by dialling 80044, connecting callers to psychiatrists and behavioural counsellors.
The service offers complete confidentiality, with UAE law guaranteeing exemption from criminal prosecution for anyone who voluntarily seeks help.
Families receive training to support loved ones' recovery and guidance on recognising early behavioural changes in children.
