Turns out even Marvel isn’t bold enough to sell tickets for a movie that doesn’t have a trailer yet. The first Avengers: Doomsday trailer surprise-dropped this morning, coinciding with tickets for the film going on sale. It’s a much more logical move than saving the trailer for Marvel’s San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday, but it does beg the question: if the Doomsday trailer isn’t going to be the centerpiece of Marvel’s presentation, what else does the company have in store for us?
