The Dakshina Kannada Automobile and Tyre Dealers’ Association recently donated a water purifier to the Government Pre-University College, Uppinangady.Association president K. Vilas Kumar, advisor T. Rathnakar Pai, joint treasurer K. Laxminarayan Nayak and manager Ramdas Pai were present. Association member Keshava P. M., proprietor of S. M. Automobiles, Uppinangady, facilitated the donation as part of the association’s social outreach initiative, a release said.Others present included college principal Ibrahim, high school head teacher Devaki, School Development and Monitoring Committee president Gunavathi, College Development Committee working president Abdul Aziz Bastikar, former Uppinangady Gram Panchayat vice-president Vidyalakshmi Prabhu, Gram Panchayat member Touseef U.T., Malik Deenar Jumma Masjid president Yusuf Haji and others.
