Fujitsu has sold its data center business in Australia.
First reported by the Australian Financial Review, Australian private equity firm Next Capital has acquired the Japanese company's business via its AU$375 million (US$262.76m) fifth fund, taking over operations at five data centers across Australia.

Next will take ownership of Fujitsu’s existing data centers in Homebush and Greystanes, New South Wales; Eight Mile Plains, Queensland; Noble Park, Victoria; and Malaga, Western Australia.
AFR reports the portfolio totals 25MW of capacity, with some 7MW actually leased to around 130 clients. There is reportedly capacity to expand the sites to a total of 100MW.
