In the Kharkiv region, in the Derhachi community, Russians struck an emergency gas service team with a guided aerial bomb while it was repairing gas leaks in buildings that had been shelled. No one was injured.
According to Ukrinform, the Kharkiv branch of the Gazmerezhi national gas distribution operator reported this on Telegram.
“The Russians launched guided aerial bomb strikes against our emergency response team, which was repairing gas leaks in shelled buildings near the 13-km point from the border with Russia in the Derhachi community… Fortunately, the emergency workers remained unharmed,” the statement reads.
The branch reported that the enemy launched a second strike just as the gas workers began their work. The guided aerial bombs landed 50 meters away from the employees of the 104 emergency service.
“The men, who have been working for more than four years amid combat operations and shelling, reacted instantly and took cover from the blast wave by dropping to the ground,” Gazmerzhi added.
