Six U.S. AMC locations operated around the clock throughout the weekend, running THE ODYSSEY showtimes for more than 85 consecutive hours to meet demand
Moviegoers turned out across AMC’s full range of presentation formats, from traditional auditoriums to IMAX at AMC, Dolby Cinema at AMC, PRIME at AMC, and XL at AMC in the U.S., as well as to iSense, IMAX, Dolby Cinema and XL screens in Europe
With a media-reported domestic opening weekend gross of approximately $124 million, THE ODYSSEY becomes the second film title in the past five weeks to have a domestic opening weekend gross considerably above $100 million, and the eighth film since late March to open domestically above $75 million
