Gold prices on Monday increased by ₹294 to ₹1,41,200 per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions on a firm spot demand.On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the yellow metal contract for August delivery traded higher by Rs 294, or 0.21 per cent, at Rs 1,41,200 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 720 lots.Fresh positions built up by participants led to a rise in precious metal prices, analysts said.Globally, gold futures fell 0.17 per cent to USD 4,010.69 per ounce in New York.Published on July 20, 2026
