The long sleeves were ruffled and there was intricate embroidery on the train. The cut-out train gave the impression the gown had been shredded at the floor with fans left divided over its unusual features.‌Some fans drew comparison to The Corpse Bride, in Tim Burton's dark animation movie. While others said the gothic design mixed with old Hollywood glamour suited the model perfectly.At the wedding, Matty's mum, Loose Women star Denise Welch was in attendance, as well as singer Charli XCX and a number of influencers and social media stars. In new snaps, Matty was seen dipping his wife back while he gave her a kiss.Speaking earlier this year about their wedding plans, Denise said: "Matty lives in Los Angeles. The boys aren't in each other's pockets, but they're there for each other. M atty gets married in July, which we're very excited about. I'm very excited about that, that's wonderful. I couldn't be more thrilled. We couldn't be happier - she is everything I would want in a daughter-in-law. I'm thrilled."‌Matty, 37, and Gabbriette, 28, got engaged back in 2024 after first being seen together in September 2023. After their engagement was announced, Gabbriette showed off a black ring and wrote: "Marrying the 1975 is very Brat."‌Denise loves Gabbriette and heaped praise on the model and musician. She said: "I love my future daughter in love, I love Gabbriette very, very much, she's amazing and we're so happy for them on the engagement."Denise was also at Charli XCX's star-studded wedding last year when she married Matty's bandmate George Daniel. Surrounded by celebs, she snapped selfies with the likes of Troye Sivan."It was just the most wonderful time and completely unpretentious. It was quite exciting for me to post pictures of lovely people that I’d met at the BBQ. One of those turned out to be Troye Sivan. All these really cool people I didn’t know at the time until my Instagram blew up. It was testament to Charli and George just how lovely and relaxed it was.
