Newly elected President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Oyinkansola Badejo-Okusanya, SAN, has pledged to lead the association with integrity, courage, fairness and accountability, promising to build "a bolder Bar that works for everyone" after emerging victorious in the association's 2026 presidential election concluded this morning.
In her first public statement following the announcement of the election results on Sunday morning, Badejo-Okusanya thanked lawyers across the country for entrusting her with the leadership of the association, describing the victory as one that belonged to every member who believed in a stronger, more inclusive and responsive NBA.
