Momentum has swung back into the favour of Charles Leclerc after his second place finish at the Belgium Grand Prix on Sunday, ensuring the battle for supremacy within Ferrari is far from over.
Just a fortnight ago, Lewis Hamilton appeared to have seized control of the narrative after several strong performances in the Scuderia. But as the championship reaches its halfway point, Leclerc has responded in the best possible way — on the racetrack.
Victory at Silverstone was exactly the statement the Monegasque driver needed. One week later at Spa-Francorchamps, he backed it up with another superb drive, finishing second behind Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli to secure consecutive podium finishes and breathe fresh life into his campaign.
It was not without controversy, however as Leclerc found himself at the centre of one of the Belgian GP's biggest talking points after colliding with McLaren's Oscar Piastri at the Les Combes chicane.
