The South African Weather Service predicts warmer temperatures in northern Gauteng, hot conditions in Mpumalanga's Lowveld, and fog patches along the Northern Cape coastline.
It is going to be a fine and cool start to the week for South Africa with isolated showers in some areas, according to the South African Weather Service.
The forecaster said that Gauteng will be fine and cool but warmer in the northern areas, while in Mpumalanga, it will be hot in the Lowveld. In Limpopo, it will be fine and cool but hot in some areas, while it will be fine and cool in the North West but fine and cool to cold in the Free State.
Meanwhile, morning fog patches are expected along the northern coastline in the Northern Cape with cold temperatures over the extreme southern parts, with fresh winds along the south to south-easterly areas.
The same weather is expected for the Western Cape with wind along the coast fresh to strong west to north-westerly, while light and variable north of Cape Columbine.In the Eastern Cape, it will be partly cloudy to fine, and cold in some parts.
