Gunmen have released two of the three siblings abducted in the early hours of Saturday while taking the corpse of their mother from Abuja to Benue State for burial.
Three siblings who were conveying the corpse of their mother from Abuja were reportedly abducted around 4 a.m. on Saturday while on their way to the Iklenyi community in the Okpokwu Local Government Area of the state.
The kidnappers were reported to have abducted the siblings between Omutele and Ankpechi along the Ogobia-Otukpo Road in Oglewu District of Ohimini Local Government Area of Benue State.
A local source who simply identified himself as Elijah told our correspondent on Sunday that the kidnappers released two of the siblings on Saturday night but were still holding one captive.
