'Difficult Decision'

Saturday's show at Citi Field canceled at last minute after "it became clear that it wasn't safe for us, the crew or all of you"; singer still booked to play Sunday night at Mets' stadium

Noah Kahan was forced to cancel his Queens, New York concert at the last minute Saturday due to inclement weather in the area.

With heavy rain, severe thunderstorms and strong winds expected in the tristate area Saturday, Kahan’s team and Citi Field officials first attempted to delay the concert a few hours, pushing back doors opening to 7:30 p.m. and removing the opening acts from the bill.

However, even with the revised schedule, the weather situation proved too risky for stadium officials, who made the decision to cancel Saturday’s concert after some fans had already arrived at Citi Field.
