New Delhi, Sachin Sharma says, "In view of reports of proposed march to Parliament by CJP on 20th July, it is categorically clarified that no such application for permission has been received or given to Delhi Police or no such permission has been granted. Prohibitory orders under section 163 BNSS are in force in whole of the New Delhi district area so according to that assembly of 5 or more persons, protest marches or demonstrations are not allowed except for the designated protest site Jantar Mantar that too only after permission. From tomorrow onwards, Parliament session is also commencing so elaborate security arrangements would be in place for public safety and security of protectees as well as for protection of vital government installations. Any person violating the applicable 163 BNSS orders will be liable for legal action. Therefore, Delhi Police appeals to all the citizens that they respect law and refrain from participating in any unauthorized gatherings or marches and cooperate in maintaining public peace safety and security" Show more Show less
