CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Romblon’s most-wanted person was arrested by law enforcement operatives in Barangay Poblacion, Looc, on Saturday, July 18, while authorities were serving a warrant of arrest.

In a statement, the Police Regional Office (PRO) Mimaropa said personnel of the Looc Municipal Police Station, led by Acting Chief of Police Maj. Richard M. Obsid, carried out the operation with support from the 1st Platoon of the Romblon Provincial Mobile Force Company.

The arrest was made by virtue of a Regional Trial Court’s arrest order issued on July 6 in connection with four criminal cases—three counts of qualified acts of lasciviousness and one count of rape by sexual assault.
