The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Musa Mohammed, who disclosed this in a statement, said the suspects caused grievous bodily harm on the victim over allegation that he was owing them N70,000.
The Bayelsa State Police Command operatives havearrested eight suspected cultists inside a hotel facility along Mike Okokpo street in Yenagoa, the state capital, after they manhandled a 300 level student of the Niger Delta University over allegation of owing them.
The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Musa Mohammed, who disclosed this in a statement, said the suspects caused grievous bodily harm on the victim over allegation that he was owing them N70,000.
He said upon receipt of the distress call, operatives attached to the Violent Crime Response Unit (VCRU) swung into action and arrested eight of the suspects.
