A RECENT report by a UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry presents overwhelming evidence that Israel “deliberately carried out acts inflicting death and severe bodily and mental harm on hundreds of thousands of Palestinian children” resulting in genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes being committed in Gaza; and war crimes being committed in the occupied West Bank.
"Israel is eroding the foundational structure of Palestinian society, weakening the demographic vitality," the commission asserts, adding heft to its previous findings.
In its September 2025 report, the three-member commission concluded that Israel perpetrated genocide in Gaza, under the 1948 Genocide Convention.
Its latest report, published on June 23, 2026, specifically examines the impact of Israeli military actions on Palestinian children, including those in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, since October 2023.
