Ukraine's military intelligence has released an intercepted conversation in which a Russian unit commander outlines an assault plan that calls for African mercenaries to attack first, followed by fighters from the Middle East.
According to Ukrinform, the audio recording was published by the Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) of Ukraine's Ministry of Defense.
In the intercepted communication, the Russian serviceman says:
"Two Black guys open the door toward KT-6 and pick up yesterday's package. One reaches 'Forest' and holds the position. Then I move in with the Arabs. Understood?"
HUR commented that "not even Agatha Christie could have invented such a plot: two African mercenaries, acting on orders from the commander of Russia's 1194th Motor Rifle Regiment, are sent to assault a tree line in the Donbas."
