Punjab & Sind Bank on Saturday reported an increase of over 23 per cent in its net profit for the three-month period ending June 30 (Q1 of FY27).According to the bank, net profit rose to ₹331 crore during April-June quarter of current fiscal as against ₹269 crore. The said period saw net profit increasing to ₹1038 crore from ₹900 crore registering a growth of over 15 per cent. Share of RAM (Retail, Agriculture, and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in total advances increased by over 6 per cent to over 60 per centDuring the period Gross NPA (Non-Performing Assets) decreased by 113 bps to 2.21 per cent from 3.34 per cent.
