Theatre on the Square’s winter music programme features a line-up of acclaimed performers, including classical musicians, jazz artists and opera singers.

Theatre on the Square in Sandton has announced its Winter 2026 Lunch Hour Music Concert Programme, featuring a line-up of classical, jazz and contemporary performances by some of South Africa’s celebrated musicians.

The weekly concerts will take place every Friday at 1pm, with performances running from May 29 to August 28. Tickets cost R100, while members pay R60. Seats are unreserved, with tickets available from the theatre box office an hour before each concert.

The series opened with flautist Isabel Bradley and pianist John Warner in Flute, Finesse & A Little Fru-Fru, followed by performances including Sax After Noon featuring saxophonist Phil Holder, vocalist Tulla Eckhart, guitarist Luke van der Merwe and pianist Jonathan Birin.

The programme also features a mix of emerging and established performers, including pianist Daniel de Wet, guitarist Renier Prins, Amanda Blankfield-Koseff, Evelyn Green, musicians Malcolm Nay and Zanta Hofmeyr, and baritone Dr Jean du Plessis with pianist Sonja van Zyl.
