Don Vino is set to return to the stage with Saxy Vibes 8, continuing a journey that has made him one of the country’s most recognisable contemporary saxophonists.
Known for his signature sound of jazz, soul and contemporary sounds, the saxophonist has built a strong following through high-energy shows that fuse musicality with popular appeal.
The "Saxy Vibes" series began as a personal performance concept that showcased his saxophone-led reinterpretations of popular music, gradually evolving into a branded live experience due to strong audience demand and consistently sold-out shows.
Over time, it became a staple on the Cape Town live entertainment calendar, with each edition building on the last. Each edition has showcased collaborations with local artists and a mix of genres.
