SPRINGBOKS completed their traditional Friday captain's run at Hollywoodbets Kings Park in Durban ahead of facing Wales in the Nations Championship on Saturday.
Springboks assistant coach Mzwandile Stick says the Boks are hungry to add a new cup to their groaning trophy cabinet after a stunning start to the inaugural Nations Championship.
Before the inter-hemisphere competition kicked off on July 4, coach Rassie Erasmus was lukewarm about it, but after impressive tournament victories over England and Scotland, the Bok tune has changed a touch.
The Boks finish their home leg of the tournament on Saturday in Durban, where they host Wales.
“We are always looking at the bigger picture, and all the way to the World Cup in Australia next year,” Stick said. “We have always had a July series where we host the northern teams, and then in November we go to them.
