MANILA, Philippines – Laguna Water, a Manila Water Non-East Zone operating unit, continues to reinforce its readiness and implement proactive measures to mitigate the potential effects of El Niño, ensuring a dependable water supply for customers across its service areas.
Laguna Water General Manager Constantine O. Uy said the Company remains vigilant in monitoring water supply conditions and continuously enhances its operational capabilities to sustain reliable water service amid changing weather patterns.
“We regularly assess the availability of our water sources, optimize system operations, and conduct preventive maintenance activities to help ensure uninterrupted water distribution. We also continue to intensify our non-revenue water reduction initiatives to minimize water losses and improve system efficiency. In addition, we work closely with local government units and other stakeholders to monitor conditions across our service areas and implement appropriate measures, when necessary,” Uy said.
