The Honda Prologue has been one of the best selling electric vehicles in the United States in the past year or so. It was the 6th best selling EV in the US in 2025, and it was the 8th best selling EV last quarter. In the first quarter, it only trailed the Tesla Model Y, Tesla Model 3, Hyundai IONIQ 5, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Chevy Equinox EV, Toyota BZ, Rivian R1S, with 5,088 sales.

But Honda has now decided to stop selling the Honda Prologue EV in the US. After the 2026 model year, the Honda Prologue will no longer be sold in the United States. Seriously?….

Naturally, low sales following the US EV tax credit cut last year are part of the blame, but sales have started bouncing back now. Heck, the Hyundai IONIQ 5 just had one of its best quarters.
