”The three armed hijackers held a driver at gunpoint while attempting to disable a tracking device, making multiple calls for assistance before abandoning him
“They repeatedly contacted a man, believed to be an employee or installer for a vehicle tracking company, seeking telephonic assistance to locate and remove a tracking device from a hijacked vehicle while holding the driver at gunpoint,” claimed Prem Balram, head of Reaction Unit South Africa.
