High EoE prevalence found via symptom-based screening in pediatric asthma clinic

Through a symptom-based screening approach, 8% to 13.9% of pediatric patients with asthma who were seen in an academic pediatric asthma/allergy clinic had eosinophilic esophagitis, according to study results. These results were published in The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology: In Practice.
