Autonomic symptoms worse in pediatric EoE with joint hypermobility

Among pediatric patients with eosinophilic esophagitis, around a quarter had joint hypermobility, according to results published in The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.Researchers went on to find that this group of patients had a significantly higher score on a questionnaire measuring autonomic symptoms vs. those without hypermobility, signaling greater symptom severity.
