Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has dismissed speculation linking him with clubs in Europe and North Africa, insisting he remains fully committed to the Soweto giants.
Ouaddou has become one of the most sought-after coaches on the continent after a dream debut campaign in South Africa, leading Pirates to their first Betway Premiership title in fourteen years whilst also lifting the MTN8 and Carling Knockout Cup to complete a memorable domestic treble.
The 47-year-old’s remarkable success sparked reports that clubs from Europe and North Africa were monitoring his situation, particularly after he admitted following the final game of last season that he would take time to reflect on his future after an emotionally draining campaign.
However, the former Moroccan international has now moved to end speculation over his future, saying his loyalty to Pirates and chairman Dr Irvin Khoza outweighs any interest from elsewhere.
