Investigating Directorate Against Corruption (IDAC) head Andrea Johnson has reportedly returned to work after a medical emergency forced her to miss a scheduled appearance before the Madlanga Commission earlier this week.

Multiple sources told IOL that Johnson has since been subpoenaed and is expected to testify before the inquiry early next week.

However, commission spokesperson Jeremy Michaels declined to discuss the matter, saying an update would be issued soon.

“I can’t really say much on that, but you should expect communication next week,” he said.
