Since the start of the day, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have struck 12 vessels of Russia’s shadow fleet in the Black Sea.

According to Ukrinform, Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, reported this on Facebook.

The vessels include nine dry cargo ships, two tankers—one of which is a gas carrier—and one tugboat.

From July 6 to 17, as part of Operation MoLoChKa, the Unmanned Systems Forces struck a total of 159 vessels belonging to Russia’s shadow fleet: 117 in the Sea of Azov and 42 in the Black Sea.

“The goal is to cause irreversible paralysis of the logistics of oil, fuel, and cargo that bypass sanctions. To turn every self-propelled vessel into a barge drifting aimlessly at sea, blind and deaf; the goal is not to pollute the waters with oil slicks, so no holes are to be made,” the commander emphasized.
