During the night of July 16, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck 11 vessels of Russia's shadow fleet in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, including five tankers, one tanker-gas carrier, three dry cargo ships, and two tugboats.
According to Ukrinform, Robert Magyar Brovdi, commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces, reported this on Facebook.
He said that during the operation "MoLoChKa," carried out from July 6 to July 16, a total of 147 vessels belonging to Russia's shadow fleet had been hit. Of these, 117 were in the Sea of Azov and 30 in the Black Sea.
"The goal is to paralyze the logistics of oil, fuel, and cargo transported in circumvention of sanctions. Every self-propelled floating vessel should be turned into a drifting barge, blind and deaf at sea; the aim is not to stain the water area with oil slicks, so there will be no holes," Brovdi stressed.
