Ellavoz Impact Capital Names Stuart Hean Chief Investment Officer

Veteran impact investing executive joins EIC's senior leadership team

Ellavoz Impact Capital (EIC), a social impact investor, advisor, asset manager, and real estate developer focused on creating and preserving workforce and affordable housing and other community-oriented real estate properties, announced the appointment of Stuart Hean as Chief Investment Officer. Mr. Hean joins EIC's senior management team from Cedar Impact Capital where he served as Managing Director.

Mr. Hean founded Cedar Impact Capital, a Philadelphia-based advisory and investment platform providing strategic counsel to nonprofits, public agencies, investment managers, and development firms at the intersection of impact investing and commercial real estate. Cedar also acted as a General Partner and co-investor in high-impact real estate projects and fund vehicles, including the Philadelphia Homeownership Impact Fund (PHIF) — a partnership with EIC that laid the groundwork for Mr. Hean’s current role.

Before founding Cedar, Mr. Hean served as Vice President of Investments at CEI-Boulos Capital Management, a private equity fund management firm focused on deploying equity capital into attainable housing development projects using the Qualified Opportunity Fund (QOF) structure.
