In the Kherson region, six civilians were wounded as a result of Russian shelling with various types of weapons.

According to Ukrinform, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Telegram.

“On July 16, 2026, the Russian army shelled settlements in the Kherson region using aircraft, artillery, and drones. As of 5:30 p.m., six civilians were reported to have been injured as a result of the Russian aggression,” the statement reads.

According to the prosecutor’s office, one person each in Mykilske and Krasnosilske, as well as four residents of Kherson, were injured as a result of the Russian attacks. One of those injured in Kherson is a healthcare worker.

In addition, apartment buildings, an educational institution, an ambulance, a moped, and passenger cars sustained damage.
