Throughout the day, Russian forces shelled communities in the Kherson region with artillery and attacked them with drones. Seven civilians were injured.
The Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
“Under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into allegations of war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). According to the investigation, on June 27, 2026, the Russian army shelled the Kherson region with artillery and drones. As of 5:30 p.m., seven civilians were reported injured as a result of the Russian aggression,” the statement reads.
Specifically, in Zymivnyk, one person was injured by artillery fire that occurred in the morning.
