England crashed out of the FIFA World Cup 2026 on Wednesday night (July 15), and Sir Mick Jagger and Liam Gallagher have had conflicting responses.
The Three Lions lost 2-1 to Argentina following two late goals, which brought a heartbreaking end to the squad’s quest for a first World Cup final in 60 years. The team last competed in the final in 1966 when it beat West Germany 4-2, and have appeared in three semifinals since, losing them all (1990, 2018, 2026).
