The newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State, Prof. Tomola Obamuyi, has pledged to address the institution’s infrastructural challenges through innovative and sustainable funding strategies.

Obamuyi, who was recently appointed by Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, made the promise on Thursday while speaking with reporters after a two-day inspection of facilities across the university campus.

The vice-chancellor, who assumed office last week, said his administration was committed to improving existing infrastructure while implementing practical solutions to the institution’s challenges.

He said, “Our administration is now focused on providing practical solutions to the institution’s challenges.

“Having gone round, my impressions are good, but we need to improve on what we have on the ground. As I mentioned some time ago, my leaving the university was a period of preparation, and my coming is the solution to the challenges that we have here.” Related News I’m not afraid to return to school, rescued Oyo pupil recounts ordeal in bandits’ captivity Engineers urge FG to fund modern learning facilities FG begins fresh count of Nigeria’s out-of-school children
