The new Vice Chancellor of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education, Prof. Samuel Oladipo, on Tuesday unveiled a five-year roadmap to reposition the university with a vow to pursue academic excellence, digital transformation, research innovation and financial sustainability that will place the university ahead of its peers.
Prof Oladipo made the declaration in his address at his investiture as the sixth Vice-Chancellor of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education, where he pledged to provide transformational leadership anchored on accountability, innovation and service.
Addressing a gathering that included the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Prof. Rahamon A. Bello, members of the Governing Council, principal officers, Senate members, traditional rulers, security chiefs, academics, students and other dignitaries, the new Vice-Chancellor described his appointment as both “a profound honour” and “a deep responsibility.”
Oladipo said that “It is with profound humility and a deep sense of responsibility that I stand before you today at this historic moment, my investiture as the sixth Vice-Chancellor of Tai Solarin Federal University of Education.
“I am honoured to lead an institution founded on noble ideals, a legacy of excellence, and a steadfast commitment to education and societal progress”
