Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and Ro Khanna (D-CA), both progressive stalwarts, raked in millions of dollars and are sitting on well over $15 million in cash on hand.But Democratic governors and senators are also holding their own in the silent potential primary race. Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA) raised $12 million in the second quarter of 2026, the second-highest fundraiser among the 2028 hopefuls.
Yet it was Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) who has raised the most money out of all the future White House aspirants.
