But his comeback lasted all of 69 seconds as the Irishman injured his knee and was unable to continue, losing the fight by technical knockout.‌But taking to social media, McGregor provided an update on his knee while making his demand. "1. I will have the results of the scan on my leg tomorrow. 2. The fight should be a no contest and all bets returned," he wrote. McGregor's request is highly unlikely to be granted as his last defeat, by Dustin Poirier in 2021, was also recorded as a TKO when the Dubliner broke his leg.‌McGregor has only one fight left on his UFC deal which is contracted to to take place by April - if he is fit enough. Earlier the Irishman said on social media: "Surgery. Prehab. Return to martial arts practice. Go again. Final fight of the contract. Please God!
