Gen.G Esports is rolling out roster changes for VCT Pacific Stage 2, bringing back a player who stepped away from competition for years.
Kim Nak-yeon, known as Efina, officially joined the Gen.G active roster on July 9. He’s replacing ZynX, who’s dealing with a wrist injury.
The roster math
Efina played professionally from 2020 to 2021 before stepping away entirely, only returning to competition in 2024. His total career prize winnings sit at roughly $15,659.
Alongside Efina, Gen.G promoted RaxcaL from its academy team to replace Lakia on the active roster.
