Delta Governor Sheriff Oborevwori
The Delta State House of Assembly has received a request from Governor Sheriff Oborevwori seeking approval to revise the 2025 Appropriation Law to accommodate additional government spending.
The request was contained in a letter read during plenary by the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, who presided over the sitting on Tuesday.
In the letter, the governor proposed a revised recurrent expenditure of N510.10bn and a revised capital expenditure of N669.13bn for the 2025 fiscal year.
Oborevwori said the review was necessary to fund additional capital projects across communities in the state and improve the living conditions of residents.
