The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, is set to declare open the 53rd Annual General Meeting and Congress of the Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria, scheduled to hold in Lagos.

The industry event, which will run from 23 to 24 July 2026, at the Providence Hotel in Ikeja GRA, will bring together advertising executives, marketing experts, media directors, policy regulators, and key players across the broader creative economy to deliberate on the critical forces transforming the marketing communications landscape.

This year’s congress is themed ‘AdVolution: The End of Advertising as We Know It and How to Win What Comes Next.’

The theme addresses the rapid integration of artificial intelligence, digital ecosystems, shifting consumer preferences, and the rise of the creator economy, which are collectively redefining brand connections and value delivery.
