A Hamilton man is facing more than 130 charges after a sweeping international investigation into online livestreams of child sexual abuse, Toronto police announced Wednesday.
Stephen Tolys was allegedly funding and directing the livestreams that were shot in the Philippines while he was back home in Ontario. The 42-year-old was initially arrested in March on six counts of child abuse, but officers say further probing revealed a broader case that led to 100 additional charges.
