A Toronto man has been sentenced to 33 years in a U.S. federal prison after pleading guilty to sexually exploiting more than 145 children online and being previously sentenced for similar offences in Canada.
Ramanan Pathmanathan, 40, was sentenced on Wednesday by U.S. District Court Chief Judge James Boasberg after pleading guilty in January to the production of child pornography and to coercion and enticement of a minor. He was arrested Dec. 3, 2025 and was extradited from Canada, according to a social media post by the FBI.
